The fun film I Directed & Edited for Samsung is a Finalist at the Shorty Awards.
RESULTS The video received over 5M views, with over 40% organic views. 70% of viewers were 18-34 years old. News of the collaboration spread far and wide, with coverage from Yahoo News, The Drum, The Irish News, GRM, Engadget and others. The campaign contributed to 43% more pre-orders than the S7, released the year before. Results: 2.7M views on Facebook 2.5M views on YouTube 43% uplift in pre-orders (compared to the Samsung Galaxy S7) 43% of Facebook views were organic 59K reactions, comments and shares on Facebook Cost per completed view was more than 2x lower than benchmark
I had a great time working on a new short film called ‘Blokes’. It stars Robin Berry & Tom Slatter, who also wrote and produced the film so I was happy to step in to help them out especially after all the great work they did for me on Bad Words and Luminous Man.
I had the pleasure of meeting Doug Naylor, the co-creator Red Dwarf.
That show has always had a huge inspiration to me. The perfect combination of great characters and cast, brilliant jokes and some of the most inventive and weird storylines you’ll find in a sitcom (or anywhere for that matter). The fact it’s still going strong after 25 years is also pretty amazing.
So it was great to hear some writing advice from one of the super minds behind it.
